Call Center – MORNING shift more info The Call Center is hosted at WKAR Studio on the MSU Campus. The MORNING shift will be between 8am – 12n. There are shifts on Monday-Friday, January 16-20. Pre-Event – Mapping Team PM shift more info The Mapping Team is responsible for verifying and printing ALL food box recipient addresses using Google Maps online interface in conjunction with MS Excel. To successfully perform these tasks an individual must have a basic operational knowledge of computers and know how to access the internet. This role is best suited for adults who are detailed minded. The PM mapping shift will be in the afternoons or evening. There are shifts on Feb 1-2, 4, 6-9.	Sold Out	$0.00	$0.00
Event Day – Greeter (entry doors/halls) more info Event Greeters will be stationed at entry doors to the Holt High School facility or in the hallways. Greeters will welcome and provide general information or directions. Training provided on event day.	Sold Out	$0.00	$0.00

Event Day – Distribution Set-up Team more info The Event Day Distribution Set-Up Team is responsible for ensuring that all Food Box Pallets are placed in their correct location at the four predefined areas of food distribution at the Holt High School campus parking lot. This role is best suited for individuals who can perform repetitive medium-weight lifting (25-35 lbs) and don’t mind being out in the cold for several hours at a time.	Sold Out	$0.00	$0.00
Event Day – Food Box Distribution Team more info The Event Day Food Box Distribution Team is responsible for ensuring that all Food Boxes are safely distributed to each vehicle at each of the four predefined Distribution points in the Holt High School parking lot. Event Day – Distribution Data Team more info The Data Distribution Team is responsible for ensuring that all Google maps are organized, sorted, and distributed by tri-county zip codes to our Food Box Delivery Volunteers on event day immediately following the Food Drop Rally in the Holt High School common area. What Is Food Drop 2012

Food Drop 2012 is a regional worship and service event you will not want to miss! Over 45 churches in the Tri-county area gather for a unified worship service and then collaborate to "be" the hands, feet, and voice of Christ to nearly 3,000 local families. As we deliver food boxes we will offer prayer in a gentle and respectful way and leave an invitation to visit one of our participating churches. We trust that people will see God's love working through us and it will open up opportunities for us to share the Hope we have in Christ.

What You Can Expect

You can expect to be a part of a movement greater than any one church. You can expect to be warmly welcomed by your brothers and sisters in Christ who have a passion to see our region reached for Christ. And you can expect to take part of transforming the Greater Lansing Area with Christ! Our events would not be possible without the help of our faithful volunteers! The various serving opportunities will be coordinated by leaders from differing COGL Churches. You can expect that you will be treated with kindness and respect. Because we partner with churches all over the city the volunteer sites may vary.

Location of Serving Opportunities

Because we partner with 45 churches and organizations for this event, the location of your serving opportunity may vary depending on the coordinating church. Various churches are responsible to coordinate specific aspects of the pre-event activities. You will find our partner churches to be friendly, welcoming, and a lot of fun. The location of your specific serving opportunity will be listed on your ticket above. You may print it to plug the information into your GPS, google maps, mapquest, or smart phones.

It takes an army of people to feed 3,000 families in one day! There is no way we could do this without your help! Thank you for taking the time to help us prayerfully plan and serve our shared community. We look forward to partnering with you to put love in action! These events are open to anyone who desires to serve in our shared community.
